Run through historic Dorchester

Join us for a welcoming Half Marathon and 10km around Dorset's historic county town, starting and finishing at Dorchester Cricket Club.

The routes are mainly on pavements and cycle paths, giving runners an accessible and enjoyable way to experience the town and surrounding area.

Whether you are chasing a personal best, building towards a new goal or simply enjoying a relaxed day of running, runners, walkers and Jeffers are all welcome.

There are no printed maps at the event. Please download and print your own if required.

The routes are marked, but signs can occasionally be moved. We recommend downloading the route to your phone or navigation device.

Marshals will be located at course splits where applicable.

There is no formal cut-off for this event.

Runners on all routes must return to the event venue by 14:00 or be collected by the broom wagon.

Your Medal, Your Choice

Not everyone wants or values a medal, so we've made it optional. You can choose to enter with or without one.

To receive a finisher's medal, you need to enter by 4 September. This is the cut-off date for us to place the medal order.

Entries remain open after this date, but late entrants will take part without a medal.
