DORSET HALF AND 10km

This ROAD course winds through some of Dorset’s most picturesque countryside, offering wide open views, quiet roads, and a few gentle inclines to keep things interesting—but nothing too taxing.

It’s a great opportunity to enjoy the thrill of race day while soaking in the natural beauty of the area. The event focuses on creating a supportive environment, making it ideal for those looking to set a personal best or simply enjoy a well-organized run at their own pace.

With a community-driven vibe, helpful marshals, and well-stocked Aid stations, the Dorset Half marathon and 10km is more than just an event, it’s a day to celebrate running, fitness, and the great outdoors.

Whether you’re aiming for a strong finish time or just taking in the scenery with fellow runners, this event offers a memorable and enjoyable experience without the pressure of tougher, more competitive races.

This is a friendly, small-scale local run with a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere. Once you start, we’ll be cheering you all the way to the finish! Everyone gets a recorded time, so just bring a positive spirit and enjoy the day — it’s about having fun, not chasing Olympic gold, off course you can chase your best time, but we welcome runners, walkers and jeffers, come and enjoy (as best you can), the beauty of Burton Bradstock on The Jurassic Coast.

Not everyone wants or values a medal, so we’ve made it optional—you can choose to enter with or without one.

Medals often travel a surprisingly long way before reaching you, and we’re mindful of the environmental impact that creates. There’s little benefit in reducing waste in areas like feed stations if we’re not also considering the footprint of items like medals.

By giving you the choice, we can offer greater flexibility while taking a more thoughtful approach to sustainability.
